The Firm is pleased to announce that Leanne Murray Shofi has joined the firm as Special Counsel to the Litigation and Appellate Practice Group.
Leanne began her career at Cuddy & Feder in the early 1990s before working as a commercial litigator with Kelley Drye & Warren and a number of other firms. Ms. Shofi has represented a variety of corporate clients in complex commercial disputes, including disputes relating to stock purchase agreements, broker-dealer agreements, SAS agreements, and representation and warranty insurance agreements. She has handled numerous federal appeals as well as appeals within the Connecticut and New York State Courts.
“Leanne adds a tremendous depth to our commercial litigation team and has the keen analytical skills and natural intuitive ability to get to the heart of a dispute,” said Chris Fisher, the firm’s managing partner. “We are thrilled to have her back on our team.”

Ms. Shofi graduated from Duke University, with Distinction in English, and received her law degree, magna cum laude and Certificate in Environmental Law from Pace University School of Law. Ms. Shofi is admitted to practice in the federal and state trial and appellate courts within New York and Connecticut, and is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
