Cuddy & Feder Partner Kristen Motel will serve as a panelist at the Land Use Leadership Alliance (LULA) Training Program hosted by the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University on April 8, 2025. This session will focus on empowering local leaders in Sound Shore communities with practical tools and strategies for responsible land use decision-making.
Kristen will join Nicola Armacost, Mayor of Hastings-on-Hudson, in a session titled Best Practice Case Studies. Together, they will discuss successful approaches to implementing Climate Smart Community initiatives, offering insights into effective collaboration, policy development, and long-term planning for local municipalities.
Now in its 30th year, the LULA program provides municipal officials, planners, and community leaders with intensive training on sustainable development and regional land use planning. The program encourages inter-municipal cooperation and promotes thoughtful leadership in land use decision-making across New York State.
