Cuddy & Feder Partner Christopher B. Fisher moderated a panel entitled “City of NY Case Study” at the Wireless Infrastructure Association’s 2016 Conference in Dallas. New York is the most populous city in the United States and its mobile broadband policies and efforts at the leading edge. Mr. Fisher along with speakers Joshua Breitbart, Special Advisor to Mayor DeBlasio, Al Jenkins, NYC Deputy Director of DoITT, Ray LaChance, CEO ZenFi Networks and Chris Elliott from Edge Communications led the audience through the City’s 2015 establishment of municipal broadband policies, its latest franchise reforms to facilitate small cells and ground-breaking initiatives changing the mobile landscape in NYC including LinkNYC and others.
