On Tuesday, March 26, Christopher B. Fisher, Managing Partner at Cuddy & Feder, will be among a panel of speakers discussing Investing in Westchester’s Digital Future; Exploring the Impacts of Next Generation Technology, hosted by the Westchester County Association (WCA). The event, co-sponsored by Cuddy & Feder, will be held at the IBM Learning Center in Armonk, NY from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Mr. Fisher, who is also State & Local Government Affairs Advisor at New York State Wireless Association (NYSWA) and a WCA Board Member, will be speaking alongside Hon. George Latimer, Westchester County Executive; industry representatives from Altice (formerly Cablevision), AT&T, Crown Castle, and others; and representatives from Westchester Library System, K-12, Healthcare Association of NYS (HANYS) and Smart City Experts.
The program will look at the direct impact of high-speed broadband and wireless technology on economic development, workforce development, healthcare and Westchester’s education system, and the current state of federal, state and local regulatory activities and steps to prepare for the newest technological advancements. It will also examine the value of comprehensive planning to face a number of policy, public safety, land-use and right-of way considerations and digital equity and strategies to eliminate barriers to broadband access and use.
