Cuddy & Feder Partner Christopher B. Fisher spoke at the Westchester of Tomorrow conference hosted by the Westchester County Association on April 28, 2016. The event showcased keynotes and speakers from around the country including former NYC economic development officials, the Mayor of Chattanooga, leaders of not-for-profit economic development organizations from Austin and Raleigh, and the a director of urban development from ULI, the National League of Cities and the Rose Center for Public Leadership in Land Use among others. Mr. Fisher gave his perspectives on how to fund housing and broadband infrastructure locally as needed to attract a millennial workforce and further Westchester’s innovation economy. As President of the New York State Wireless Association, Mr. Fisher also commented that “the need for high-speed broadband and local policies that support its development are under the radar screen in the County right now and needs a focus Westchester to be competitive now and in the future.”
