We are pleased to announce that Robert Feder, founder of our firm, will be honored by Pace University’s Land Use Law Center as the 2016 recipient of The Kheel Center Founder’s Award.
The award is in recognition of Bob’s long and distinguished career of accomplishment, in which he helped clients bring to fruition countless real estate projects, often requiring resolution of complex financial, organizational, zoning, and environmental issues, while consistently bringing together stakeholders to forge a consensus within the community notwithstanding widely disparate views on the appropriate course of development.
The annual Founder’s Award is bestowed in honor of Theodore W. Kheel, the great American attorney and labor mediator, upon an individual or municipality that has worked collaboratively with a community and reinvented democracy to make change happen. The award will be presented to Bob at a Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Dec. 7, 2016 at The Mansion on Broadway in White Plains.
The dinner will also launch the Land Use Center’s 15th annual Alfred B. DelBello Land Use and Sustainable Development Conference. Cuddy & Feder partners Anthony Gioffre and William Null will be featured on the panel, “Development ‘Chiropractics’: Adjusting to the New Downtown,” discussing flexible design concepts in suburban and urban contexts, addressing current economic trends and the realization of planning theory into a successful development for your downtown.
To attend the dinner, reserve your seat by Nov. 19.
