Josh is a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Group. He has spent his entire law career at the firm and offers 35 years of experience in both real estate and commercial litigation. His practice includes commercial litigation, zoning disputes, all aspects of real property litigation, trial practice and appellate work. Clients include real estate developers, commercial landlords, property owners, professionals and corporations involved in general commercial litigation, real property claims and defenses, contract disputes, corporate litigation and estate litigation.

Many of Josh’s cases have been reported and cited frequently by the Appellate Courts of New York. Sample matters include: Jury trial of breach-of-contract action against multinational publicly held corporation with high seven-figure recovery; negotiation, arbitration and litigation of construction defect claims against general contractors, architects, engineers, home inspections firms and construction managers; trial of multi-million dollar condemnation claims on behalf of condemnee; Federal Court claims on behalf of real estate developers under §1983 of Civil Rights Act; representation of Condominium Associations in construction contract disputes and breach of warranty claims; adverse possession, easements, foreclosures, mechanic’s liens and commercial landlord-tenant; Article 78 proceedings challenging denial of zoning approvals; general counsel to many Westchester commercial property owners, landlords and developers; representation of shareholders, partners, corporations, condominiums and partnerships in all aspects of business disputes including interpretation and enforcement of contracts, restrictive covenants, dissolution proceedings, breach of contract, warranty and fraud claims, and judgment collection and enforcement; successful lifting of landmark designations during administrative hearing process and in Article 78 proceedings; and representation of developers and property owners in applications to and hearings before Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Boards.
