Cuddy & Feder Obtains Site Plan Approval for 185-Unit Multi-Family Development in Port Chester
On September 28, 2022, Cuddy & Feder Land Use Attorneys Anthony B. Gioffre III and Daniel Patrick obtained Site Plan Approval from the Village of Port Chester Planning Commission to redevelop the property located at 208-216 King Street with a new 12-story, 185-unit multi-family development project near the Metro-North Railroad Station and Village’s Main Street.
The residential development proposes to replace the two smaller multi-family buildings with an approximately 221,800 s/f building consisting of 36 studios, 58 one-bedrooms, 80 two-bedrooms, and 11 three-bedroom units. The improved housing stock at the property will include 19 units being offered at 60% AMI and will be supported by various amenities and 152 off-street parking spaces.
In addition to improving the Village’s housing stock, the project proposed by Regency Real Estate, Inc. will advance the Village’s transit-oriented development goals and attract new residents to the Village’s vibrant downtown area. The approved building was designed in full compliance with the Village’s Character-Based Zoning Code and is just one of several inspiring projects that Cuddy & Feder has successfully represented in the Village.
