Brendan Goodhouse, Partner in the firm’s Litigation group has been elected to serve as Secretary of the board of directors of the Port Chester Carver Center and Treasurer of the board of directors of the Legal Aid Society of Westchester. Brendan has served as a board member of the Port Chester Carver Center for four years and joined the Legal Aid Society of Westchester board in 2019.
The Port Chester Carver Center has been serving the community’s children and families since 1943. Its programs serve a wide range of Port Chester residents, including children, teens, adults and senior citizens. The Port Chester Carver Center provides programs and services that are tested and proven, engaging and empowering and promotes understanding and sensitivity for cultural diversity with respect for language and value differences.
The Legal Aid Society of Westchester County provides free criminal and family court legal representation to persons who are unable to afford an attorney. It is founded upon the belief that equal access to effective representation by counsel is vital to upholding justice and assuring equal administration and protection under the law.
Brendan’s practice is principally concentrated in complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, governmental & internal investigations, telecommunications litigation, and alternate dispute resolution. Brendan serves on the firm’s Ethics Committee.
