Anthony F. Morando, Partner and Vice-Chair of the firm’s Land Use, Zoning & Development Practice group, has been named to the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Abilities First NY (FAFNY). FAFNY is the fundraising arm for Abilities First, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving the needs of over 1,400 children and adults with developmental disabilities through educational, vocational, residential, and habilitation services in the Hudson Valley.
Anthony has been an active member of the Hudson Valley community, serving on the board of The Chamber Foundation of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Westchester Women’s Bar Association, and Westchester County Association. He is a former member of Leadership Dutchess and served with other organizations throughout the Hudson Valley. In 2016, he was a recipient of the Forty Under 40 Mover and Shaker award for the Hudson Valley by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce for his professional success and contributions in the community.

Anthony is one of Cuddy & Feder’s three LEED® AP attorneys and is also a member of its inter-disciplinary Energy & Environmental Practice Group. His practice includes most facets of land use, zoning and telecommunications and energy infrastructure. He has represented and worked with a broad range of applicants for land use and energy permits, including residential and commercial developers, utilities and non-profit organizations. He regularly appears before Planning Boards, Legislative Boards, Zoning Boards and other permitting boards and agencies.
