On December 8, 2016, Anthony B. Gioffre, III and William S. Null presented to, and moderated a panel of experts at the Pace Land Use Law Center’s Conference on Sustainable Development. The panel included Christopher N. Gomez (Planning Commissioner for the City of White Plains), Nanette Bourne (Senior Vice President, AKRF, Inc.), William V. Cuddy, Jr. (SP- Executive Vice President, CBRE, Inc.) and Lucy Wildrick (Partner, StreetWorks Development). The presentation and discussion concerned policy issues, goals and dispelling myths. It focused on the recommended approaches to revitalization in the downtown area by using multifamily rental housing as a catalyst for economic development. Messrs, Gioffre and Null currently serve as lead counsels in numerous large-scale developments proposed for downtown areas in Westchester County.
