Firm History
Fifty years ago, Bob Feder and Bill Cuddy founded Cuddy & Feder with a simple handshake and set up shop in a three-story colonial house on Maple Avenue in White Plains, New York. Over the years, our firm increased in size and like any family, outgrew the house it had originally started in. But despite our size, downtown address and expansion in the Hudson Valley and Connecticut, the warm, welcoming feel of our firm remains the same.
Serving the Community
Partnering for a Greater Good
For most of our attorneys and staff, giving back has always been second nature. I look at the 5,000 Hours Challenge not as a mandate, but as an encouragement—an encouragement to our staff to do what they love and support the causes they feel passionate about. That is the heart of Cuddy & Feder.”
— Christopher B. Fisher, Managing Partner
5,000 Hours of Community Service + Pro Bono
Throughout our anniversary year, Cuddy & Feder is committed to donating over 5,000 hours of pro bono legal and not for profit work within the community to 50 different organizations.
Our Progress
Our Commitment to Serving 50 Nonprofit Organizations in 2021
An integral part of our culture at Cuddy & Feder is our connection to the communities and people we serve that we most celebrate and honor as part of our firm’s 50th anniversary. Our firm’s core values of excellence, service, respect, support, commitment and community in service to others extend beyond just the practice of law. It’s what makes our firm unique. To mark our anniversary, we are leaning in deeply, expanding our donations, our time and efforts, and rededicating ourselves to the community by committing our support to 50 nonprofit organizations before the end of the year.

For about 30 years now, Cuddy & Feder has participated in several holiday toy drives each year. It is hard to believe how many children and families in our own community are struggling and in need of a helping hand. The Firm’s employees are just amazing, some even going out of their way to track down a hard-to-find item on a wish list or buying more than expected. The joy I feel in delivering a trunk full of toys to these charities is probably nothing compared to what each child feels opening a special gift when they didn’t think one would be coming this year.”
